Out-of-plane bending stress intensity factor analysis of cracks in a strip using single-element strain gage

چکیده

In recent years, the authors have developed a dedicated strain gage (hereafter referred to as K-value gage) and an analysis method that can analyze stress intensity factor of crack with single element. The single-element K value obtain opening mode simulated within ±5% theoretical value. this study, using gage, was inserted into one side edge strip attempt made when out-of-plane bending load applied. M.L.Williams introduced equation for acting on crack. converted εθ equation, derived. formula defined grid angle 104 degrees Poisson's ratio 0.3. order examine validity derived experiments were carried out strips cracks inserted. When a/W=0.2 0.3, length respect width W obtained ±10% a/W=0.1, error 10-15%.
